Darko Lugarić composes music for woodwind orchestras. He is a member of the Society of Croatian Composers through which he protects his copyrights. He grew up in the family of Karlo Lugarić, a composer and music teacher of many brass bands. He started playing music at the age of five - first percussion, and later trumpet and accordion. Today he plays the euphonium.

In his career, he has led many woodwind orchestras, and founded and led the Zagorje entertainment ensemble "Zagorska zvona". To date, he has composed over a hundred musical pieces.

 

Depending on the occasion, he writes music for:

• marching orchestras

• funeral orchestras

• dance orchestras
• concert orchestras and
• Zagorje entertainment ensembles.

For each musical piece from Darko's workshop, there is a score with all the instruments of a large woodwind orchestra.
